"Malina Pi" je poceni računalnik v velikosti kreditne kartice, ki potrebuje še TV (kot ZX Spectrum) ali računalniški monitor ter standardno tipkovnico in miško. Ta majhna naprava omogoča ljudem vseh starosti, da raziskujejo računalništvo in se naučijo programirati v jezikih, kot sta Scratch in Python. Računalnik je sposoben narediti vse, kar bi pričakovali od navadnega namiznega računalnika, od brskanja po internetu in predvajanja HD posnetkov, izdelave preglednic, urejanja besedil, do igranja iger.

Še več, Raspberry Pi ima sposobnost, da komunicira z zunanjim svetom in se uporablja v najrazličnejših digitalnih projektih, od izdelave glasbenih naprav, detektorjev za vremenske postaje, do ptičjih hišic z  infrardečo kamero s povezavo na Twitter.

Kaj bi predlagali za prvi projekt?

Nokia 6120 classic

Pred časom sem zamenjal ponudnika mobilnih storitev. Sedaj sem na T-2. Uporabljam tudi nov telefon: Nokia 6120 classic. Moral sem se navaditi na Nokia menuje in na Symbian operacijski sistem. Toda telefon ima vse, kar si lahko želiš: HSDPA, 2M kamero z LED flešem in standarden USB mini vhod. Telefon je ravno prav majhen in ima precej dober zaslon. Ima režo za MiniSD kartice.

I'm on T-2 now. I also got a new phone Nokia 6120 classic.

I had to get acustomed to Nokia style menus and Symbian. But the phone has everything: HSDPA, 2 M camera with LED flash and USB mini standard plugin. The phone is small and has a decent screen. It has a MiniSD card reader.

Bookeen Cybook Gen3

I had received my first dedicated e-book reader. It has e-ink technology. It means that the screen is very similar to paper. Almost identical. Of course, as an electronic device, it offers much more. Font size and type changing on-the-go, dictionaries, and a whole bunch of books on at the touch of a finger.

I got the black cover. It looks like a planner.
The device is fantastic. The screen is HUGE and the contrast is great and readable! It is very thin. The navigation is easy. It has synced with mobireader without any problems. Booting is really quick (cca 20 sec). Moving the file is so easy as Cybook acts as an USB disk.
I already put several fonts on it (had to delete the cache file manualythough).
The "eastern-europe" characters (čžš) work when a html file is processed through mobipocket creator as UTF-8.

My only complaint is about line spacing and margins in mobi files. And some custom made dictionaries don't work.

Sony Ericsson V630i

I changed my mobile phone network operator. I'm on Simobil Now. I also bought a new phone, because my old z1010 battery's life is way too short. I was looking into K750i, but decided in favour of the UMTS phone. It's identical to the K610i only it's Vodafone brand (cheaper).

Sony Ericsson z1010

I recently lost my mobile phone. I had to buy another one. I didn't had much choice. I was forced to choose between Panasonic X300 and Sony Ericsson z1010. Panasonic don't have IR.
